A party of nine skied the Dixie Creek
drainage at Cumbres Pass on Sunday, December 18th. Michael Altheer,
Scott Baily, Dennis Brandt, Jean Dewart, Rick Light, Jackie Little,
Lorrie & John Lopez, Ron Morgan.....plus three dogs, Molly, Luna,
and Espioti appeared to love the outing!
It was a gorgeous day - primarily kick
and glide with some tele turns to be found. We skied to the top of
the drainage to a viewpoint that overlooked the Chama River Valley
below. Beautiful sun, good snow, ideal conditions.
