Frijoles Canyon on Labor Day

This one-way hike is a Mountaineers classic that's always rewarding. From Ponderosa Campground, we will hike down Frijoles Canyon for about 8 miles, and reach the Bandelier National Monument Visitor Center.

Let's meet at 8 AM at Ponderosa Campground to set up the car shuttle.

Bring adequate water, snacks, sun protection, and a Park Pass if you have one.

Chances of thunderstorm or severe weather will cancel the hike.
