To call this ski season mediocre is an understatement – it has been tough through much of the West. However, Wolf Creek, which advertises the most snow in Colorado, is living up to its promise. The latest storm has delivered 11”, and their snow depth is 47” at the midway point – thin for Wolf Creek, but perfectly ski-able. I would like to propose one more Pagosa/Wolf Creek outing before the 2025-26 ski season gets away from us. We had a great ski outing in mid-January, and I would like to give it one more go.

We would rent lodging in Pagosa Springs, and spend our days in winter sports - skiing at Wolf Creek, or cross-country skiing and snowshoeing wherever there is snow to be found. If conditions improve significantly, we might also take a day to travel to Purgatory, north of Durango, and ski there.

Once we get a party together, we can finalize our lodging plans in the Pagosa area and share its cost. We will reserve a place checking in Thursday March 5 and checking out Sunday March 8 - there are several places available in Pagosa at this point

We would head up on Thursday, spend Friday and Saturday on winter sports, perhaps ski again on Sunday morning and drive back before it gets too late that evening. . I might like to leave early Thursday morning so as ski part of that day also. Let me (Bill Priedhorsky) know if you would like to join in.
