Christmas Day on the Roof of the Americas

Date:
Tue, 2016-09-27

Please join us Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at the Los Alamos Nature Center for a presentation by local mountaineer Joshua Payne.

On December 25th 2015, Margie Root and Joshua Payne stood on top of Aconcagua, 22,841 feet above sea level after 10 days on the mountain. Margie and Joshua were treated to one of the best Christmas presents a mountaineer could hope for: a nearly 7,000-meter summit with crystal clear, warm, and calm weather! We had an amazing time, made some new friends, and pushed ourselves to the limits.

Social and reports of recent and upcoming trips at 7:00pm. Program at 7:30pm.
